COMMISSION INFORMATION

Custom portraits in colored pencil and graphite, created with care and attention to detail. Each piece is drawn from your reference photos using archival materials designed for long-lasting preservation.

BASE PRICING

Portraits of animals:

  • 6 × 8 inches — $175 (single subject)

  • 8 x 10 inches—$225 (single subject)

  • Larger sizes and multiple-subject quotes available on request.

Portraits of people (graphite only):

  • 6 x 8 inches—$160

  • 8 x 10 inches—$200

MATERIALS

  • Animals: colored pencil on Pastelmat, drafting film, or other white or toned archival surface.

  • People: graphite on toned or white archival drawing surface, depending on subject

SHIPPING

Shipping is calculated at the final invoice based on size, destination, and packaging requirements.

REFERENCE PHOTOS

Clear, well-lit photographs are essential for portrait accuracy. In particular, it’s very important that the subject’s eyes are clearly defined and in focus. If submitted images are too small, blurry, edited with filters, or otherwise unsuitable for professional use, I may request additional photos or decline the commission.
Clients are responsible for having the rights to any image they provide.

TIMELINE
Typical turnaround is 3–6 weeks, depending on size and complexity. Rush options may occasionally be available.

COMMISSION GUIDELINES

To ensure the highest quality result and a smooth creative process, I follow these guidelines for commissioned work:

• A 50% deposit is required before I begin the portrait.
This secures your place in my schedule and allows me to start gathering references and planning the piece.

• I am happy to provide a preliminary sketch for review and comments.
This is the ideal stage for any adjustments. Once the final artwork is underway, the composition and drawing will be considered approved.

• Finished artwork is delivered unframed.
